Dr. Cornelius is a proud military veteran, serving in the Army at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, as his team’s medic in Psychological Operations. As a dentist, he takes pride in providing excellence in dentistry to our military and their families in San Antonio, Texas. Dr. Cornelius is pleased to be living and serving in the San Antonio community. He was born in Springfield, Oregon, and grew up in the country, where he spent his youth involved in 4H and different entrepreneurial opportunities. At age 18, he joined the ARMY and was stationed at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, where he spent the next four years working for Psychological Operations and also serving as his team’s medic. During this time, he met the love of his life and quickly married her. Today, they have eight children and have lived a very adventurous life worldwide.
Dr. Cornelius attended dental school at Loma Linda University School of Dentistry. He served on the Student Government Board during his time as a student. Dr. Cornelius has a passion to spend the rest of his life learning. He has spent over 2000 hours since graduating in 2009, furthering his dental education in Biological and Holistic Dentistry, Surgery, Implants, Moderate Conscious Sedation, and Orthodontics. Dr. Cornelius has received the Mastership Award from the Academy of General Dentistry. In 2011, he completed the MaxiCourse taught by the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. This course is one of the most respected and comprehensive training programs in Implant Dentistry taught throughout the US and Internationally. This program provides over 300 hours of lectures, labs, and surgery. Dr. Cornelius is currently in the process of becoming an Associate Fellow Member of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. The surgical and medical challenges of implants are one of Dr. Cornelius’s favorite parts of dentistry.
